Pilgrims Mennonite Church meets in Akron, Pennsylvania (Lancaster County, USA) for worship on Sunday mornings. PMC is a member of Mennonite Church USA and Lancaster Mennonite Conference. We affirm the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective (source: MC USA website).

Pilgrims is a thriving small church focused on making our faith relevant in the world. The photos on webpages show the people who are PMC and welcome you to attend our services.

There is generous acceptance in our group for diverse theological perspectives. And at the same time, we are rooted in nurturing faith and growth in each other, through biblical study, theological dialogue, and, for many, working at spiritual disciplines.

Congregation gathers at a park for Fellowship Sunday worship, meal and time together

We enjoy a variety of worship patterns, and many persons participate in the worship service. Worship includes a focus on knowing God more, prayer, silence, and growing in intimacy with God. It also includes personal sharing and teachings on themes that call people to reflect on their faith journey and to activism.

We have a growing group of youth and children, who energize us, and give us new perspectives. We have seniors, persons who have truly been activists in their lives and encourage us to accept a diversity of perspectives. Most of our membership (in age) is between youth and senior. We welcome new persons of any age!

Friends enjoy conversation before we gather for Sunday worship service

As a church we put a high priority on worship, fellowship, retreats, small groups and informal times together.
